BRIO is a Swedish toy manufacturer which makes wooden toys. The company was started in 1884 when 24 year-old Ivar Begntsson and his wife Sissa Persdotte settled on a farm in the small town of Boalt. They are probably most famous for the small toy trains and tracks of wood. The company was long located in Osby in north-east Scania, but is now headquartered in Malmö. However, the company's toy museum, Lekoseum, is still located in Osby.
