Wästberg launched its first collection in 2008, and despite seemingly coming out of nowhere, nothing could be further from the truth. Founder Magnus Wästberg was born into a world of lighting and has through his many years of experience created an understanding of the need to combine aesthetics and technology.

Today, Wästberg offers a growing catalogue developed in collaboration with world-famous designers and architects like David Chipperfield, Ilse Crawford, Klaesson-Koivisto-Rune, Nendo and Inga Sempé. Wästberg works intensively with the details in the design but also in the materials such as solid wood, brass and copper.  The lamp collection from Wästberg has won numerous international design awards such as Good Design Awards, Reddot Awards, Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany, Elle Interiör Design Award, Swedish Design Awards, Wallpaper Design Award and London Design Museum’s 'Designs of the Year' Award. Wästberg is headquartered in Helsingborg, Sweden.
