When making an online purchase on, you automatically accept to having read the following Terms & Conditions for Sale and Delivery. Any deviations from these are only valid in the case that Paustian A/S explicitly has accepted this in writing.

Conclusion of a purchase agreement
When placing an order on, an order confirmation is subsequently sent to the customer via e-mail. The information provided when submitting an order is used for billing, payment and shipping purposes.

Acceptance of electronic communication
When purchasing one of Paustian A/S' products online, it is agreed that communication and information can be sent via the e-mail address provided by the customer. The customer hereby accepts that electronic messages have the same legal effect as those not sent electronically.

All prices at are incl. Danish VAT and without obligo.

Terms of payment
Payment for profucts ordered online shall be conducted using one of the credit cards listed under "Payment cards". The amount due for payment is withdrawn from the customer's account once the goods have been dispatched. All customers paying with a card are subject to a validation control and Paustian A/S reserves the rights to withhold an order in case it is estimated that further security control is necessary. Please also read the "Payment cards" section.

For online purchases over 499 dkk, Paustian A/S offers free delivery to all Danish addresses including islands connected by bridge (excluding Greenland and the Faeroe Islands). In case the order contains bigger products, delivery to curb applies. Paustian A/S chooses the means of transport and route to the delivery address, and the customer immediately takes over liability of the product upon delivery.
All other purchases are made ex warehouse Copenhagen with a surcharge for delivery. The expected delivery time is up to 8 weeks from the ordering date, as long as the product is not a back order.
If the order involves delivery of bigger products, the customer will be contacted via telephone with the purpose of making a delivery agreement. For purchases not made on Paustian A/S's websop, the delivery time will be agreed with the sales person involved.

Delivery outside Denmark
For deliveries outside Denmark, the customer covers all freight costs. For deliveries outside of the EU, the customer does not pay Danish VAT, however, taxes, customs- and import fees might be assigned to the package upon delivery in accordance with the national rules of the specific country. Unfortunately, Paustian A/S cannot predict this amount. The customer is responsible for paying all applicable surharges. Paustian A/S does not assume liability for the product once they are handed over to the freight company.

Returns (online purchases only) 
The customer's right of return is 14 days from the date on which the customer received the product. If the 14th day falls on a public holiday, Constitution Day, Christmas Day or New Year's Eve, the deadline for returning the product is pushed to the following weekday. In case the order contains multiple deliveries, the right of return expires 14 days after the last package is received. Within these 14 days, it must explicitly be made known to Paustian A/S that the customer wishes to make use of the right of return by filling out the enclosed return formula. The customer cannot regret the purchase by denying to receive the package upon arrival without informing Paustian A/S.

The customer must return the products to Paustian A/S without any unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after having informed about the regret of the purchase. Please note down the tracking number until we have confirmed to have received the package. Any costs incurred in connection with the return shipment are covered by the customer, who also carries the responsibility of the package until the time of delivery to Paustian A/S.

The right of return is subject to the product being returned undamaged in the same condition and quantity as it was received. Missing original packaging might pose a deduction in the product's value, thus the original packaging must be used when returning the goods. This way it can be ensured that the full amount is refunded to the customer. Please note that for products being customised to the customer’s requirements, the right of return only applies until production/customisation of the product has commenced.

The condition of the returned goods
The customer is held liable for a possible deduction of the product’s value if it is caused by handing the product in a way that is not in agreement with what it necessary to determine the nature of the product and its function. In other words, the customer can try the product in the same way one would do in a physical store, but the product cannot be taken into actual use.

In case the product was tried beyond what is described above, Paustian A/S considers this as a used product, which means that the customer upon regret of the purchase only will receive a refund that is in accordance with the product’s market value.

If the customer regrets a purchase, the amount of the initial order will be refunded. In the case of a deduction in the product's value, this amount will be subtracted. 

Paustian A/S will refund the amount due without any unnecessary delay, and under any circumstances, no later than 14 days after having received the notification regarding the customer's regret of the purchase. Paustian A/S completes the refund by the same mean as the original payment was done, unless the customer explicitly has agreed to otherwise.

Paustian A/S can hold back the refund until we have received the returned goods, unless the customer can present proper documentation for having returned the products.

We do not accept packages without distribution or sent per C.O.D.

Force majeure
All orders accepted are subjected to force majeure, including war, civil unrest, natural disasters, strikes and lock-outs, shortage of raw materials, fire, damage to Paustian A/S' or Paustian A/S' suppliers' production equipment or storage facilities, transportation issues, import/export prohibition or any other event which prevents or restricts the ability of Paustian A/S or its suppliers to deliver. In case of force majeure, Paustian A/S can opt to cancel the order or to deliver the agreed items as soon as the hindrance to normal delivery has lapsed. In case of force majeure, Paustian A/S accepts no liability for any loss suffered by the buyer as a result of non-delivery.

When the customer performs a purchase from Paustian A/S, 24 months of warranty against manufacturing defects (materials and construction) applies. This means that the customer either can get the product repaired, exchanged, refunded or get a reduction of the purchasing price, depending on the situation. The warranty must always be legitimate and wear and tear is not covered, neither is damage caused by misuse or vandalism of the product. 

The customer must complaint within a “reasonable time frame” after having discovered the defect. If the complaint is done within two months of the discovery, the warranty is always considered to be in due time.

If the warranty is legitimate, Paustian A/S will refund the (fair) freight costs. The product must always be returned in a secure packaging - please keep the receipt in order for Paustian A/S to refund the freight costs.

When returning the defect product, please describe the cause of the warranty claim in as much detail as possible.

Product liability
To the extent that otherwise does not follow from the mandatory legislation, Paustian A/S is not liable for operating loss, loss of profits or other indirect losses caused by product defects. Please also see the rules of the Danish Product Liability Act (Produktansvarsloven).

Information about complaint options
A complaint about a product or service purchased from Paustian A/S may be submitted to The Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's "Center for Klageløsning", Carl Jacobsens Vej 35 DK-2500 Valby. You can submit a complaint via

Paustian A/S accepts no liability for mis-prints, price errors, different colour rendering on photographs of products etc. on the webshop. Likewise, no liability is accepted for VAT and tax changes. All measurements stated are approximate.

Disputes shall be settled in accordance with Danish law and by the City Court of Copenhagen as jurisdiction, unless otherwise applies from the mandatory legislation for consumers.

Policy of personal data

In order to be able to enter an agreement with Paustian A/S, the following customer information is required to be presented: name, address, phone number, and e-mail.

Paustian A/S will perform the registration of the customer’s personal details with the purpose of being able to deliver the order.

Thecustomer's personal data is registered by Paustian A/S and kept for 5 years. Hereafter, the information is deleted. The customer’s details are not distributed or sold to any third parties.

When registered at Paustian A/S, the customer always has the right to make an objection against the registration along with the right to know which type of information that is registered. These rigths are given to the customer via the Personal Data Law. Questions regardíng this can be send to:
