AG Fronzoni was born in Pistoia in 1923 and died in Milan in 2002. He was trained as a graphic designer, but also worked as an artist and architect. Everything he has made and worked on is based on formal simplicity and geometry – that was his primary inspiration. 'Less is more' was the cornerstone of his thinking. For Fronzoni, everything was superfluous. Superfluous being defined as 'waste'. He taught at the Institute for Visual Communication in Milan, the Art Institute (ISA) in Monza and many other places. In 1982, he created his own school in Via Mageta in Milan which welcomed students from all over the world.
