Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby (1969) graduated from Royal College of Art in London in 1996. They opened their own studio the same year. Alongside their eponymous studio, they founded Universal Design Studio in 2001, now recognised as one of the world’s most innovative creative design consultancies. The mainly work in architecture, interior design and exhibition design. In 2012, they launched Map, a multi-disciplinary design studio that genuinely represents innovation and research in both design and architecture. Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby are both design professors who regularly give lectures and hold workshops internationally. The two designers work with product design, furniture design and architecture for some of the most renowned design companies in the world. Their products have received several awards.
