Paustian launches Lumio in Denmark
Paustian is launching the innovative, Red Dot Award-winning lamp Lumio, designed by San Francisco-based architect and designer Max Gunawan.
Lumio stems from a desire to create beautiful, flexible and functional lighting that can be used everywhere – a design that is independent of space and power source, is shaped like a book and opens out into a fascinating light sculpture which can be placed anywhere.
Lumio is a versatile lamp, designed with the modern day lifestyle in mind. Minimalist in its expression, it can be formed and opened out as required, and the LED-embedded 'pages' are made of the durable, water-resistant material Tyvek. Lumio can be used both indoors and out, for summer parties in the garden or for reading bedtime stories to the kids. Lumio comes with a mini-USB charger, a magnetic cover in walnut or maple and a beautiful leather strap for hanging.
Rec. retail price: DKK 2,100
