Come in and see us
With a full range of furniture, rugs, lighting and accessories, Paustian offers some the very best in Danish and international design.
The Paustian building was designed by the world famous architect Jørn Utzon in 1987, and the extension by his son, architect Kim Utzon, in 2010. The extension beautifully completes the original building.
The building houses a wide range of International and Danish designer furniture and accessories as well as lighting and rug departments. Our Business department and design studio are also located here. Further information about Business can be found in the main menu.
Around 1.5 km further out in the harbour at Kattegatvej 38, Kim Utzon has designed us a building for our warehouse and administration.

Situated overlooking Aarhus Harbour in the lovely old Østbanegård station building from 1877 is Paustians møbelhus.
The building was renovated in the late 1980s on the initiative of interior designer Vivian Boje, with architectural firm Kjær og Richter responsible for the actual restoration and conversion work. The doors to the furniture store opened in 2000.
In the charming old station building, you will find an extensive range of Paustian's own collection interspersed with a number of international furniture classics, for which Paustian has exclusive distribution rights.
The building offers ample opportunity to experience and be inspired, by virtue of the special atmosphere that pervades activities, exhibitions and cultural events held here.
In Aarhus, we also have a Business department and a design studio that are more than happy to help with furnishing projects large and small. Further information about Business can be found in the main menu.
